About
ContentSumo

We serve startup and growth-stage SaaS and e-commerce companies who want to generate demand, get leads, and grow their customer base using content.

We create brand and content strategies that speak directly to their target customers.

Unlike high-end content agencies that may not be accessible and affordable to bootstrapped, early-stage, and growth-stage companies, we focus on partnering with them to build content machines tailored for them.

Our Philosophy

Bootstrapped, startup, and growth-stage SaaS companies and e-commerce brands can build a solid marketing strategy on consistent content creation and distribution. They can make content their competitive advantage and superpower. We want to help them do this. On time. On budget.

01
Curiosity and constant learning

We consistently ask the right questions and prioritize learning. We go into every new project with a well-equipped toolkit that has enough space for more.

03
Simplicity

The best solutions are usually the simplest. We strive to simplify content marketing for you and offer the simplest possible solutions for your challenges.

02
Clients and value-focused

We ensure you get value for your money. We focus on results and goals. Not number of hours spent or word written.

04
Community and partnership

We want to be your growth partners. We don’t just want to offer you random services, we want to build your business with you.

Our Mission

To demystify content marketing for SaaS and e-commerce companies and make content their marketing superpower.

Our Vision

To demystify content marketing for SaaS and e-commerce companies and make content their marketing superpower.

Our Story

John founded ContentSumo after working with numerous SaaS and e-commerce companies as well as content agencies. From this experience, he discovered that most agencies only sell to the top guys that can pay them top dollars, leaving startups and growth-stage companies who may not have the huge budget to hire a content agency to scout for low-ball freelancers on Fiverr and Upwork. To help early-stage companies overcome this, he decided to put his experience and expertise in copywriting, SEO, and content marketing to work to help startup and growth-stage companies enjoy the benefits of content marketing.
